It’s a celebration in the SmarterHQ office today! We are thrilled to announce that SmarterHQ has been named a finalist for the TechPoint Mira Awards in the category of Emerging Tech Startup of the Year.
This honor comes after 2014 brought a year of rapid growth and changes. Among them, we rebranded to become SmarterHQ, announced Michael Osborne as CEO, brought on Dean Abbott, Co-founder Chief Data Scientist, full-time and tripled our R&D staff. These moves were symbolic of our shift in the marketplace, which will be solidified with the upcoming debut of our new platform that allows retailers to complete the conversations they are having with their shoppers both on- and offline (watch our teaser video here).
SmarterHQ’s revenue and number of employees more than doubled in 2014, and we are coming off the best fourth quarter in company history. In addition, we were able to bring on many new, notable clients and continued to work with some of the world’s top retailers, including Finish Line, Bloomingdales, Shoe Carnival, JustFab, Cole Haan and more.
Indiana’s reputation of growing the most innovative marketing tech companies in the country continues to be validated. We are both pleased and grateful to be in the company of the other Emerging Tech finalists.
